Pius Fritschi (Swiss) is a Managing Partner at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for the firm’s global client related activities and leads the Liquid Markets Growth business. He is a member of the Executive Committee and chairs the firm’s Client Committee.
Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Mr. Fritschi was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, serving banks, insurance companies and asset managers on a broad range of topics. Among others, he co-led McKinsey’s European Life Insurance & Asset Management Practice for several years. During his 15 years at McKinsey, Mr. Fritschi worked out of Zurich, Sydney and Mexico City offices, serving clients from all over the world. In 2006, he joined Horizon21, an alternative investment boutique in Switzerland, as Partner and Deputy-CEO.
Mr. Fritschi holds an MA in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Basel. He is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish.
Roberto Paganoni (Dutch/Italian) is a Managing Partner, the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is also a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Advisory Board and the private equity Global Investment Committee.
He joined LGT Group in 1997 to form the Alternative Investments Group, which is now LGT CP Ltd. Prior to joining LGT Group, he had been at McKinsey & Company since 1989, where he managed international projects in the areas of industrial goods, airlines, telecommunications and financial services. He has been based in Zurich since 1993.
Roberto completed his mechanical engineering studies at the technical University of Aachen, Germany and received a PhD in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, where he also lectures on a part-time basis. He is fluent in English, Dutch, German and conversant in French and Italian.
Sascha Gruber (Swiss) is a Partner at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for the Secondaries team and is a member of both the Executive Committee and the private equity Global Investment Committee for secondary, US primary and private credit investments.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2002, he studied banking and finance at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, receiving his MA in Economics in 2002. He also completed the PLD executive management program at Harvard Business School in 2010. He is fluent in English, German, Italian and French.
Jean-François Bacmann (French) is a Principal at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for research on the Quantitative Investment Strategies team. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Mr. Bacmann oversaw systematic volatility trading and was an associate partner at Man/AHL. During this time, he was responsible for the development and the operations related to the systematic strategies trading volatility instruments from a long / short perspective. Prior to this, Mr. Bacmann oversaw overlay strategies at Man Systematic Strategies where he was responsible for the tail hedging systematic programs. Mr. Bacmann completed his Applied Mathematics and Computer Science studies at ENSIMAG in Grenoble, France and received a PhD in Finance from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where he also lectures on a part-time basis. He is fluent in French, English and German.
Sandro Basso (Swiss/Italian) is a Principal at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He focuses on origination, due diligence, execution and monitoring of secondary investments.
Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Mr. Basso completed internships at UBS in Frankfurt and LGT CP, while working towards his MA in Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen.
He is fluent in English, German, French and Spanish.
Katy Chow, CPA, CA (Canadian/Hong Kong) is a Principal at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. She is responsible for the Private Markets Financial Operations team.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, she was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Zurich and Toronto, in the financial services and consumables industries assurance practice.
Ms. Chow holds a BBA from the University of Toronto and is a Canadian and US (Illinois) CPA. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Thomas Cooper, CFA, CAIA (Liechtenstein/Swiss) is a Partner at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for origination, due diligence, execution and monitoring of European primary investments, and he has an additional focus on portfolio management.
Prior to joining the firm in 2002, he worked at Hilti AG in Liechtenstein.
Mr. Cooper holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Chur, Switzerland, and he is a CFA charterholder as well as a CAIA charterholder. He is fluent in English and German.
Adrian Doswald (Swiss) is an Executive Director within the Multi-Asset Solutions and Sustainable Equity teams at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Mr. Doswald was a senior performance analyst at Vontobel Asset Management in Zurich. He joined LGT as a senior investment advisor and GIPS officer covering multi-asset, fixed income, commodity and equity products. Since 2014, he is a product specialist responsible for the promotion of Multi-Asset and Sustainable Equity products globally.
Mr. Doswald holds a BSc in Business Information Technology, with focus on Banking & Finance from the University of Applied Sciences Zurich. He is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA), a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and a Certified Environmental, Social and Governance Analyst (CESGA). He is fluent in German and English.
Hanna Edström (Swedish) is an Principal and responsible for Liquid Markets ESG at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. In this capacity, she drives the ESG agenda for the liquid markets including investments, communication and education. Ms. Edström is a member of the ESG committee for LGT Capital Partners.
She originally joined the firm in 2008 and spent her first years on the investment side focusing on multi-asset portfolios. In 2017, she moved to Shanghai to work on a range of start-up projects, and then rejoined the firm in 2019. Ms. Edström then moved to the client relationship side, mainly covering Nordic clients before taking on the ESG role. Ms. Edström started her career as an investment officer at IKB Credit Asset Management.
She holds an MSc in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MSc in International Management from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS). Ms. Edström is a CFA Charterholder, and is fluent in Swedish, English and German.
Florin Fagagnini (Swiss) is an Executive Director at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He focuses on investment controlling within the Financial Operations team. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, he was an assistant manager in the Banking & Capital Markets division of Ernst & Young in Zurich, where he focused on statutory and regulatory audits of banks, asset managers and investment funds. Mr. Fagagnini holds an MA in Management and Economics from the University of Zurich, and he is a Swiss CPA. He is fluent in English and German.
Matthias Feiler (German) is a Principal responsible for Asset Allocation & Research at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland.
He is responsible for the quantitative analysis and design of LGT CP’s multi-asset portfolios. Before joining the firm in 2007, Mr. Feiler was a senior researcher at the department of management and economics at ETH Zurich. Prior to this, he worked as a consultant at DaimlerChrysler in Germany. At LGT, Mr. Feiler has helped establish the firm’s proprietary forecasting framework using scenario-analysis. His team is dedicated to producing top-down analyses and perspectives on traditional and alternative investments.
Mr. Feiler holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from TU Munich and an MBA degree from the Collège des Ingénieurs in Paris. He is a lecturer in quantitative finance at the University of Zurich. He is fluent in German, English, Italian and French.
Martin Fischer (Swiss) is an Executive Director at LGT ILS Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for Investor Relations at LGT ILS Partners. Prior to joining LGT’s Insurance-Linked Strategies team, he worked in Institutional Sales for Multi Asset clients at Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking unit in Zurich for ten years, following multiple Relationship Management roles at Luzerner Kantonalbank. Mr. Fischer is a CFA and CAIA charterholder and holds a BSc in Business Administration with a major in Finance & Banking from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He is fluent in German, English and conversant in French.
Ingrid Frissen (Belgian) is an Executive Director on the Liquid Markets Multi-Manager team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, she worked at Unigestion in Geneva where she was a vice president covering event driven and equity long/short strategies. Ms. Frissen started her career in 1999 at Scotia Capital Markets in Toronto, Canada where she was an analyst in the investment banking division. In 2001, Ms. Frissen joined the proprietary trading desk at TD Newcrest, Toronto Dominion where she was an investment analyst. She subsequently joined Talisman Capital Partners in 2002 as an analyst/portfolio manager.
Ms. Frissen received her degree in Economics from the University of Antwerp in 1997 and an MSc in Finance from HEC in Montreal, Canada in 1999. Ms. Frissen is also a CFA Charterholder. She is fluent in English, German, French and Dutch.
Sandro Gauch is a Senior Associate in the Private Equity Real Estate team at LGT Capital Partners, which he joined in 2022. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing global real estate investments across a wide range of asset classes, both through direct transactions and indirect strategies.
Prior to joining LGT Capital Partners, Mr. Gauch worked in investment banking at BNP Paribas in London, where he advised banks, insurance companies, and asset managers across the EMEA region on M&A as well as refinancing topics. Earlier in his career, he was part of the Deal Advisory practice at KPMG in Zurich, supporting international corporations on cross-border acquisitions in the retail, transportation, and industrial sectors.
Mr. Gauch holds a Master’s degree in Investment and Finance from the University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics and Social Sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU).
Raphaël Gervais (Canadian) is an Executive Director at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for origination, due diligence, execution and monitoring of European private equity investments, as well as for venture and growth equity investments. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, he was with Emerald Technology Ventures AG, an industrial-technology focused venture capital firm in Zurich that invests in Europe and North America. Mr Gervais holds a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering COOP from McGill University and a Master's degree in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from ETH Zurich. He is fluent in English, French and German.
Felix Janssen (German) is a Partner at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for origination, due diligence, execution and monitoring of European secondary and credit investments. He has an additional focus on infrastructure activities.
Prior to joining the firm in 2011, he was an investment manager with Mountain Cleantech, a private equity manager based near Zurich, focused on the European cleantech industry.
Mr. Janssen holds a degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Goettingen. He is fluent in English and German.
Keimpe Keuning, (Dutch) is a Principal at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland, and he chairs the Private Markets ESG Subcommittee.
Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he was portfolio manager for sustainable private equity at RobecoSAM in Zurich, a boutique investment firm focusing on sustainable and responsible investing. Earlier in his career, he worked for Fortis Bank as an associate director in investment banking in Amsterdam.
Mr. Keuning holds a Msc in Tax Law from Leiden University and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He is fluent in Dutch, English and German.
Stephan Kind (Liechtensteiner) is a Partner on the Liquid Markets team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is a member of the Executive Committee, the co-chair of the Liquid Markets Management Team and the chair of the Multi-Asset Investment Committee. Mr. Kind is co-responsible for the firm’s Liquid Markets activities. The team is responsible for multi-asset and multi-alternative funds, sustainable fixed income and equity funds, liquid multi-manager funds and institutional mandates. For more than fifteen years, he is responsible for the portfolio management of the LGT Endowment fund.
Mr. Kind started at LGT Group in August 1994 and joined LGT Capital Partners in October 2001. He spent a brief spell in LGT Bank’s Hong Kong office and started in the portfolio management team for the LGT Endowment fund in 2005. From 2005 to 2013, he was also responsible for selecting and monitoring external managers in particular in the area of emerging markets equities.
Mr. Kind holds the Swiss Federal Diploma for Experts in Finance and Investments (AZEK) and is Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM). He received a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Applied Science (HTW) in Chur, Switzerland. He is fluent in German and English.
Anton Koch (German) is a Partner at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland, and he is responsible for entity formation and transactions within Private Markets Operations.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Mr. Koch worked for Deutsche Bank in London. Prior to that, he worked for the law firms Hengeler Mueller and Jones Day, both in Frankfurt.
Mr. Koch holds a law degree from the J.-W. v. Goethe University in Frankfurt and an LLM from the New York University School of Law. He is fluent in English and German, and conversant in Spanish.
Philippe Mantke (German/Canadian) is an Associate Director in the PE primaries team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfäffikon, Switzerland. He focuses on the origination, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of private equity fund investments, in particular in the German-speaking and Benelux regions. Further, he supports the internal Data & Analytics team in key projects relating to the private equity investment management team.
Mr. Mantke joined LGT Capital Partners in 2021 as part of the analyst program. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience through various internships in Business Administration, M&A, and Asset Allocation Research at LGT CP.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Statistics and a Minor in Computer Science from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and a Master of Science with Honors in Statistics and Data Science from the University of Edinburgh. Mr. Mantke is a native English, German and French speaker.
Peter Megyeri (German) is an Executive Director at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is an investment manager within the Private Real Estate team where he focuses on the sourcing, due diligence, execution and monitoring of real estate primaries, co-investments and direct joint ventures.
Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Mr. Megyeri has held a position at Goldman Sachs in Zurich, Switzerland.
Mr. Megyeri holds a Bachelor and Master Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich, as well as a Bachelor Degree in Management Studies and Art History from the University of Cambridge. He is fluent in German, English and Hungarian.
Johannes Oehri (Liechtensteiner) is an Executive Director on the Economic Research team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for the firm’s economic research activities and has a leading role in defining the strategic asset allocation of LGT Group Endowment. He is a member of the Tactical Group, which is responsible for defining the tactical allocation of liquid market exposures within multi-asset portfolios.
Before joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Oehri worked for Serica Bank and VP Bank.
Mr. Oehri holds a MA in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He is fluent in German and English.
Martin Patek (Czech) is an Executive Director at LGT Capital Partners Ltd. focusing on the infrastructure asset class across co-investments as well as primary and secondary investments. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he worked for Arthur D. Little in Prague, a management consulting firm, where he was part of the energy and utilities practice. Mr. Patek holds an MSc in Corporate Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics and a BSc in Economics and Finance from Charles University in Prague. He is fluent in English and Czech.
Boris Pavlu (Swiss) is an Executive Director within the Asset Allocation & Research team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, he was a consultant with Wüest & Partner AG where he performed real estate market research and advised institutional clients on property valuation models. Mr. Pavlu received his MA in Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and is a CFA Charterholder. He is fluent in German, English and French.
Natalie Sediako (Canadian) is a Principal at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. She focuses on origination, due diligence, execution and monitoring of co-investments and impact investments. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, she was an associate director at Rising Tide GmbH in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, where she focused on private equity investing. Before that, she was an investment manager for PSP Investments in Canada, focusing on private equity co-investments and special situations. Earlier in her career, Ms. Sediako worked as an investment banker at Credit Suisse in Canada and the US. She holds a BComm from Queen’s University in Canada and an MBA, with distinction, from INSEAD. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Russian.
Ralph Plotke (Swiss/German) is an Executive Director on the Liquid Markets Multi-Manager team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland.
In 2004, Mr. Plotke joined the firm from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he had focused mainly on the audit of hedge funds and private equity companies. Prior to this, Mr. Plotke worked for Lienhardt and Partner, where he was trading stock with partner banks and trade clearance. Mr. Plotke started his career at Swiss Bank Corporation.
Mr. Plotke received his BA in Business Administration from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and holds and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He is fluent in English, German, French and Spanish.
Philippe Schneitter (Swiss) is a Partner at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for origination, due diligence, execution and monitoring of co-investments and direct secondaries.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, he spent ten years at TPG Capital in London, where he focused on direct private equity investments across Europe. Prior to that, he worked in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse in London.
Mr. Schneitter holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. He is fluent in English and German.
Raimund Seeholzer (Swiss) is a Partner on the Multi-Manager team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is co-responsible for the Multi-Manager team with an additional focus on the Discretionary Strategies team. He is a member of the Liquid Markets Management Team and the Multi-Asset Investment Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Mr. Seeholzer worked for SunGard where he developed and implemented risk management tools for various banks. Mr. Seeholzer holds an MA in Business Administration from the University of St Gallen (HSG) and an MBA in Finance from London Business School. He is fluent in German, English and French.
Jetro Siekkinen (Finnish) is a Partner at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for the Emerging Market Fixed Income team.
Mr. Siekkinen has long-standing expertise in emerging market debt and currencies since 1998. Before joining the firm in 2021, he was with Aktia Asset Management for over 15 years where he was responsible for the Fixed Income Portfolio Management team, management of the portfolio, and development of Aktia’s fixed income mutual fund platform. Prior to that, he worked at SEB on the strategic sell-side and with Nordea and Sampo Banks on the fixed income sales teams.
Mr. Siekkinen holds an MA in Economics from Tampere University. He is fluent in Finnish, English and Swedish.
Brent Snow (American/Australian) is an Executive Director and Head of Infrastructure at LGT Capital Partners, based in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for the execution of the infrastructure investment strategy, deal sourcing, due diligence and portfolio management. He joined LGT Capital Partners in February 2022 and has previously worked at Aware Super as Associate Portfolio Manager for Infrastructure, at Willis Towers Watson in Infrastructure Manager Research and at UBS in multi-manager advisory.
Brent Snow has more than 15 years of experience in the infrastructure asset class, spanning primary funds, secondaries, co-investments, and direct transactions across a wide range of underlying sectors such as renewable energy, digital infrastructure, social infrastructure, and transport infrastructure. He has a BA in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Wisconsin and is a CFA Charterholder.
Pascal Spielmann (Swiss) is a Principal at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for the Quantitative Investment strategies.
Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Mr. Spielmann was the managing director and chief investment officer of Meridian Capital Holding Ltd, the liquid alternatives arm of a large and sophisticated principal investment firm. Mr. Spielmann successfully managed the firm’s global tactical asset allocation (GTAA) portfolio for over ten years. Prior to that, he founded and built up a web-based business-to-business marketplace for agricultural commodities. Earlier in his career, Mr. Spielmann was a consultant and engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, Inc., based in Zurich, Milan and London and advised clients in the financial, pharmaceutical and the industrial sectors.
Mr. Spielmann holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a MA in International Management from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS). In addition, he holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is fluent in German, English, French and Italian.
Michael Stahel (Swiss) is a Partner at LGT ILS Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. Prior to the team’s transfer to the firm in June 2012, Mr. Stahel served as head of the insurance-linked investments at Clariden Leu from 2006 until 2012, performing the same role and building the current team. Before this, Mr. Stahel spent eight years with Swiss Re in various positions in Zurich and in London where he was involved in structuring insurance-linked securities and trading insurance risk derivatives on behalf of Swiss Re’s proprietary book.
Mr. Stahel holds a BA in Economics from the University of Applied Science in Zurich and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Rochester University (New York). He is fluent in German, English and French.
Andreas Vetsch (Swiss) is an Executive Director within the Liquid Markets Multi-Manager team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland.
In 2012, Mr. Vetsch joined the firm as an investment specialist and was part of the Graduate Program. He worked in several divisions before moving to the Managed Futures team. Prior to joining the firm, he completed internships at Credit Suisse and Bloomberg News.
Mr. Vetsch studied at the University St. Gallen (HSG) and the University of Helsinki where he obtained an MA in Banking and Finance, a BA in Business Administration and holds an additional qualification in business journalism. He is also a CFA Charterholder. He is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish.
Philipp Wagner (German/Swiss) is an Executive Director on the Private Debt Operations team at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Mr. Wagner set up and managed a mezzanine fund focusing on German SMEs at Altium Capital. Mr. Wagner started his career at Bain & Co and then moved to Metro / Beisheim Group, where he held various roles in business development. He was also a founding member of Metro’s corporate venture fund Invision and a board member of Beisheim Holding Schweiz.
Mr. Wagner holds an MA in Finance & Accounting and a PhD from University of St. Gallen (HSG). He is fluent in German, English, Italian and French.
Pauline Wetter (French) is a Partner at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. She is an investment committee member. Ms. Wetter is responsible for origination, due diligence, execution and monitoring of European secondary transactions, and she has an additional focus on primaries. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, she was an associate with Mooreland Partners in London, an investment banking advisory firm focused on the IT and telecommunications sectors. Ms. Wetter holds an MSc in Management from ESCP Europe in Paris. She is fluent in English, French and German.
